EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Los Angeles Kings 4-3 Wednesday to win their best-of-seven 2024 Stanley Cup playoff series 4-1.
Leon Draisaitl scored twice and Evan Bouchard had three assists for the Oilers, who will now face either the Vancouver Canucks or the Nashville Predators in the second round of the playoffs.
The Oilers are the first team to advance to the second round of the playoffs this year.
